Prior to his full-time focus on contemporary art, Mack had a distinguished career in visual effects and held senior roles at Digital Domain and Sony Imageworks. He contributed to over 20 major feature films, including Fight Club, Apollo 13, and What Dreams May Come, winning an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for his work on the latter.
