Micro-crystalline technology made so many things possible within such a short period, it's difficult to say which advancement was the most significant, but the ability to access and transmit limitless free energy with no environmental impact was a major milestone. This early model of ETU could power an entire city. By exploiting quantum entanglement, or "spooky action at a distance", the micro-crystalline processor stone would draw stellar energy from distant stars and transmit it wherever it was needed without cables or wires. Soon micro-crystalline processing stones became much smaller and trivial to produce. Dedicated units like this one were no longer necessary as personal all-purpose units became widespread. These too would soon become relics with the advent of standard internal augmentation.
