UPU - Universal Personal Unit - 2021

The UPU became ubiquitous following the emergence of all-purpose micro-crystalline processors which possessed a vast range of incredible capabilities, including energy transmission, teleportation, virtualization, replication, materialization, neural management, and really any kind of matter/information processing. This is a very early model of UPU and is about 6" across. Increasingly smaller models soon followed. Eventually the UPU could be made small enough to be implanted easily and this marked the beginning of Standard Internal Augmentation. I took this photo during a temporal excursion to the Transcendence History exhibition at the Seaside Museum in Augra sometime in the distant future. I'm unable to specify dates because in the distant future, time is not regarded or measured in the same way it is now.
