"Finned Blob Carl" is an emergent character I discovered while searching through a constrained space of randomly generated  blobby atom implicit surfaces modulated with turbulent noise. The result was shelled (hollowed out) and a single opening was made to connect the inside to the outside. The continuous complex compound curvature provides a soothing surface for the senses that cannot be fully comprehended. It's a blob. It has fins. It's name is Carl. Contemplation of Carl can provide a refuge from the rigors of reality.
